This 2018 Ford Mustang GT coupe is one of 43 Bootlegger Edition examples built by Petty’s Garage of Level Cross, North Carolina, and it now has 1,600 miles. Power comes from a supercharged 5.0-liter V8 linked with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and the car is finished in Shadow Black over black Katzkin upholstery. It rides on 20″ Niche alloy wheels and is further equipped with Wilwood brake calipers, a race-inspired rear spoiler, a cat-back MagnaFlow exhaust system, and LED headlights and taillights, as well as power-adjustable front seats, a Barton short-throw shifter, dual-zone automatic climate control, and SYNC infotainment. Recently acquired by the selling dealer, this Petty’s Garage S550 is now offered with a Certificate of Authenticity, a Ford window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, a custom car cover, two fob keys, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The car is finished in Shadow Black and features a custom race-inspired rear spoiler, Petty’s Garage badges, LED headlights, fog lights, power-adjustable side mirrors, and LED taillights with sequential turn signals.
Matte black-finished 20″ Niche wheels are wrapped in 255/35 front and 275/35 rear Continental ExtremeContact tires. Braking is provided by Petty’s Garage-branded Wilwood calipers over cross-drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners.
The power-adjustable front bucket seats were retrimmed in Katzkin black leather with white stitching, microfiber inserts, and Petty’s Garage logos embroidered into each backrest, and color-matching material extends to the bolstered rear bench. A Barton short-throw shifter with a Petty’s Garage shift knob has been fitted, and amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and Ford SYNC infotainment.
A custom dash plaque bears a Richard Petty signature.
The multifunction steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and auxiliary gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. Additional readouts for oil pressure and vacuum are stationed in the center of the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates 1,600 miles.
The direct-injected 5.0-liter Coyote V8 is equipped with an Edelbrock TVS 2650 supercharger and a Petty’s Garage ECU calibration. Petty’s Garage-rated output was 800 horsepower. The vehicle failed a California emissions test in June 2026 and subsequently passed in July 2026.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential with 3.73:1 gears. Revised axles and a cat-back MagnaFlow exhaust system have been installed.
The Certificate of Authenticity identifies the vehicle as #43 of 43 Petty’s Garage Bootlegger Edition examples produced. A factory window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, a custom car cover, and two fob keys will also accompany the vehicle.
The Carfax report shows a Manufacturer Customer Satisfaction issued entry along with at least one open recall.
