LUCENA CITY – The main crater of Taal Volcano in Batangas produced a “moderate emission” of steam-laden plumes that rose 1,100 meters above Taal Volcano Island (TVI) over the past 24 hours, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported on Sunday, Sept. 20.
