The 14th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit is taking place next week, October 22 to 24, at the SMX Convention Center. The Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP) shares that the event marks a “breakthrough year” for the industry, as electrified vehicle sales have doubled year-on-year. Per the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines’ latest data, over 45,403 electrified vehicles have been sold so far in 2026.
This year’s summit is themed “Driving ASEAN Forward: Building an Integrated Electric Mobility Ecosystem,” presented by EVAP’s partners ACMobility, AutoHub Group of Companies, the Department of Energy, and Toyota Motor Philippines.

“With the Philippine EV Community on board, visitors get to hear real stories about charging, costs, and daily driving, straight from owners. That makes PEVS a lot more useful for anyone deciding on their next car,” said EVAP president Willy Q. Tee Ten.

Besides the owners’ exhibit, the PEVC will also be holding talks on October 24, the third day of the summit. These sessions will be focused on conversations between EV owners and motorists considering purchasing an EV.
Tee Ten added: “For many Filipinos struggling with volatile fuel prices and are curious about EVs, the next step is to try for yourself. At PEVS, we encourage you to see the displays, test drive the cars, and find the one that is right for you and your lifestyle.”
