The "To Me, To You" Index (TMTYI) ranks Championship clubs strictly by their historical connection to the Chuckle Brothers, using verified records from The Panto Archive, the It's Behind You archive, and Qdos tour registries.
It's all fairly straightforward. TMTY points are accrued across several sub-categories. Categories are not all weighted equally, nor should they be. They didn't get down south much, but them's the rules, sorry.
Important to note that only full headline Christmas pantomime runs featuring Barry and Paul count, from the listed archives.
- Panto Points: CEILING(((Last Year - 1960) / 10) * (Seasons + 1)).
- Proximity Points: MAX(1, 10 - INT(Miles to Rotherham / 25)). Distance to the brothers' hometown and spiritual home of Millmoor.
- Spring Tours (+1 pt): For hosting documented Chuckle stage tours (e.g. Barry Potty and His Full Blood Brother Paul).
- Filming Bonus (+2 pts): Awarded if the local borough hosted exterior ChuckleVision location shoots.
- "No Slacking" Point (+1 pt): Awarded to any club that remained active throughout ChuckleVision’s broadcast run (1987–2009).
EDIT - I'm thinking about sending some GET requests to public archives via a Python API (British Museum, V&A etc). This is limited to the three archives above at the mo, and it could be a lot more comprehensive.... No slackin'!
