Jetour has given its popular T2 model a facelift for 2027, and people were quick to point out that the redesign makes it look even more like a certain British SUV. Heck, even before the facelift, it was already established that the T2 shared a lot of visual elements with the Land Rover Defender. And those redesigned headlights lean even more into that Defender-esque theme.
So what can we expect from this refresh? As mentioned, the most glaring change is the new set of headlights. Jetour has traded the square-ish LED lamps of the current model for circular lights—the detail that many have said makes the new T2 look more like the Land Rover. There’s now also an LED bar between the two headlights, prompting Jetour to put its grille-mounted badging on the hood instead.

Other changes include a new front bumper, which now makes the SUV look more premium compared to the rugged black bumper of the outgoing design. The overfenders are now also body-colored as opposed to matte black. Jetour also got rid of the neon green accents found on the wheels, bumpers, overfenders, and roof rails of the current T2.

Moving to the rear of the SUV, Jetour has given the facelifted T2 a redesigned spare-tire cover. Similar to the front, the rear bumper’s paint now matches the rest of the body. As for the taillights, they appear unchanged from the outgoing model.
Jetour Auto Philippines hasn’t announced whether the facelifted T2 will make its way here, but chances are you’ll see this redesigned SUV on local roads and trails soon. The question is, do you like the facelift more than the current model?
