This series deserves the same reputation as other Hbo classics like The Wire and The Sopranos It is on that level and should be mentioned alongside them, Ratings are not meant to taken so seriously but it has a 8.3 on imdb which is way too low, it does not even reach the list of top 250 shows on imdb, It is so well written the cinematography of this show is beautiful, Damon Lindelof knows how to write great characters like he did in Lost and also in this show, The book the show was based on was inspired by 9/11 and the show perfectly shows the grief,sadness,emptiness of a great loss in a tragedy.
Every actor is good but Carie Coon's performance as Nora is one of the best acting performances I've seen in all years of watching TV, It is very slow paced and maybe not for everyone but It has a great payoff in the end, Season 3 is perfect from start to the finish, the finale is so beautiful and satisfying end to this story, I did not think even by mid season 2 that this show will reach that level of storytelling excellence.
