Super Eagles attacker, Kelechi Iheanacho, has vowed to maintain his impressive scoring form after making Turkish football history with Bursaspor.

Iheanacho scored a brace and provided an assist as Bursaspor defeated Muğlaspor 3-0 in an away clash.

Iheanacho’s brace means he has now extended his scoring streak to 10 consecutive matches in the Turkish First League.

He surpassed the scoring streaks of two legends: Metin Oktay of Galatasaray and former Turkish international Saffet Sancaklı.

Reacting, the former Manchester City star said he was happy with his performance.

“I’m happy with my performance as well, helping the team move up the table. We are now second in the league, so we hope to get more points,” Iheanacho told beIN SPORTS.

“Hopefully, the goals will keep coming, and at the end, we will crown our efforts with victory.”
