Spain coach David Aznar is targeting a positive start to his side’s campaign at the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, DAILY POST reports.
The 2018 champions will open their campaign against Nigeria’s Falconets at the Arena Sosnowiec on Monday (today).
La Rojita have a promising blend of players who featured at the 2024 and 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cups.
Aznar said his side want to do big things at Poland 2026.
“We’re always ambitious. We’re Spain and we want to win everything. We’ll approach the tournament as we always do – with humility and by taking it one game at a time,” Aznar was quoted as saying by FIFA.com.
The encounter will kick off at 5 pm Nigerian time.
