I have always identified myself as a fan of love. Being in a relationship has never been a goal, but I have always enjoyed it. I do find a calm, lovable, and happy feeling from it, and I do like my life better when it's accompanied by someone you genuinely love. Wanting to spend a lifetime with someone feels like the purest and most romantic gesture ever. It's sweet to want to share your experiences with someone else. To know that you can do things on your own, but you decide to share them with someone instead, just because you love them that much. Everything is better when that person is around, and no problem seems like the end of the world anymore. Being in love may be my favorite sensation.
Having a relationship and being in love is possible. These last few years have proved to us that not every lovable affection between two people has to end in a relationship. I don't mean being friends. That is a whole different thing. I mean the situationship. The moment when you have been dating someone for a while, and normally it will be time to be more than just dating buddies and become a couple. But that moment, that question, never forms. So the two people are trapped in a limbo where they aren't sure if their strong feelings for the other person are reciprocal.
Being in a situationship is uncomfortable and complicated. You act like a couple, but you aren't actually one.
