It had to be Kyren Williams, didn’t it? The Los Angeles Rams running back made history on Thursday night (really, Friday morning) when he scored the first touchdown ever in a regular-season game in Australia.

He punched it in from 5 yards out on the first play of the second quarter, giving the Rams a 7-3 lead over the San Francisco 49ers at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. It was set up by a spectacular 41-yard catch-and-run by Puka Nacua, and it was none other than Nacua leading the way on Williams’ touchdown run.

Williams always runs hard, and he pounded his way across the goal line despite taking a big hit from two defenders.

It was Williams' first touchdown of the year after scoring 10 rushing touchdowns last season.
