What are your suggestions for IFAB to stamp out cynical foul that stop a promising-counter attack after the "10 minutes sin bin trial" has been shelved? (example of a cynical foul that happened today in the video)

With the "sin bin" idea a NO GO zone, what other serious suggestions?

Idea 1: Straight red? Many fans would say it is too harsh, so it might not get approval

Idea 2: 1 match suspension for the next match? but that does not benefit the offended team

Idea 3: Instead of direct free kick at the spot of the foul, award a direct free kick at the 22 yards (top of the D arc). There is about a 10% chance of scoring from there due to defensive wall and distance. Judging from the result of the strawpoll, many fans (55%) like it but many fans (45%) also hate it.

Idea 4: extra yellow accumulation (count for 2 instead of 1)

or There are no good ideas so let's do nothing. Just accept that cynical fouls are "part of the game." Though IFAB was able to legislate backpass out in 1992 even though backpass was "part of the game" for over 130 years.

And recently, IFAB is able to legislate goal kick time-wasting with "corner kick" as punishment with the "referee visual countdown" so there is hope that IFAB might be able to come up with a good solution that is harsher than a yellow card but lighter than a red card.
