Brandon Butler: Butler makes his DAYS debut as Mason on Tuesday, September 1. He previously played an adult version of Zack Brady in 2025. Now, he is set to play Mason Whitfield.
Maggie Carney: Carney, who plays Rita Lesley, appears this week. Rita, EJ’s trusted assistant, appears again this week. Her character continues playing a role around EJ.
Lorelei Olivia Mote: Rachel Black is set to receive a special gift from her missing mother. Kristen sends it to her on Thursday, September 3.
Angelica Nero: Xander and Sarah’s daughter appears this week. Victoria Kiriakis, played by Angelica Nero. He will also be seen at the father-daughter dance.
Pippa Blaylock: Charlotte DiMera shares more scenes with her father, Chad. Blaylock took over the role last week.
Suzanne Rogers: Rogers finally returned to Salem on Monday, August 31. The longtime actress has played Maggie since 1973. Maggie had been away from Salem since April.
Brytni Sarpy: Sarpy will eventually join the Days of Our Lives cast. She previously appeared on General Hospital and The Young and the Restless. The actress will make her Salem debut in mid-2027. Her character has not been revealed yet.
There are no confirmed major departures from Days of Our Lives this week. The current cast updates mainly focus on returning characters and new additions. Maggie’s return is especially notable for longtime fans. Suzanne Rogers is back after several months away from Salem.
