WWE star rips 'f—ing weird' autograph-seeker after bizarre interaction while trying to catch connecting flight

Pro wrestlers have been clear with their rabid fans – be polite, respectful and refrain from being weird when seeing them in public.

WWE star Paige had to make that clear once again.

Last week, she fired off a warning on X about those seeking her autograph at an airport.

"Airport scalpers are morphing.. Had someone waiting for me as I was getting off the plane at the gate of my connecting flight with like 30 pictures.. I’m easy going with this stuff but pulling up to my gate is f—ing weirdo behavior," she wrote. "Don’t do that."

Paige caught up with TMZ over the weekend and detailed the incident further.

"A lot of people in sports and anywhere really, or like any kind of celebrity, there'll be people wait to the airport like a bunch of pictures ready for you to sign," she said. "They want to sell it eventually. I’m usually pretty chill about it, honestly. I'm like, whatever, take my signature, I’m good. But this guy bought a ticket to go through to meet me at my connecting gate. So, he knew my flight, he knew where I was connecting through and he knew what time I was landing which is so f---ing weird.

"It's too far. So he's waiting outside for me and he has like 30 pictures and I'm like bro this is really strange. And he's like, ‘I know it's weird.’ And I'm like, yeah, bro, like, ‘get the f--- away.’ I don't think it's the airlines fault. I think it's someone maybe working for the airline or someone working in the airport that's like telling these people exactly where we are. And I'm like, we have meet and greets. We tell you where we're going to be at the arenas. That's different, too. Come to the arena. Come to, you know, a meet and greet, but like don't turn up at my hotel. Don't turn up at my connecting day. And don’t even turn up at the airports because a lot of wrestlers hate that."

While Paige deals with autograph-seekers, she’s also dealing with Nikki Bella in the ring.

Bella turned on Paige at SummerSlam after dropping the tag team titles with Brie Bella to Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid.
