Xpeng Philippines has officially opened pre-sales for the X9, the brand’s flagship people-mover. A reservation can now be placed for P25,000, which comes with privileges upon delivery of the vehicle. Early customers reserving the X9 are entitled to P10,000 worth of EV charging credits, as well as an exclusive Xpeng “First Circle Gift Set.” A limited number of units from the first batch of X9s bound for the Philippines are available for reservation.

Along with the pre-sale announcement, Xpeng Philippines shared some preliminary specs for the X9 itself. The Chinese brand revealed that the electric MPV is driven by a front-mounted motor making 315hp and 450Nm of torque, paired with a 110kWh battery. This setup allows for a 0-100kph acceleration of 7.75sec and 615km of WLTP range.

Xpeng describes the X9’s exterior as a “starship-inspired design” that leans on the brand’s futuristic aspirations. It measures 5,316mm long, 1,988mm wide, and 1,785 mm tall, which firmly places it alongside other premium seven-seaters like the Denza D9 and the Li Auto Mega.

The brand also shares that the X9’s body has a low drag coefficient of 0.236, which contributes to low energy consumption of 5km/kWh and reduced wind resistance noise. Other exterior features include intelligent dual-chamber air suspension allowing the vehicle to drop to 100mm of ground clearance to support ingress and egress, and a rear-whel-steering system for enhanced agility when maneuvering tight spaces.

The interior is furnished with Nappa leather upholstery, with captain’s seats at the second row and bench seating at the third row. Xpeng emphasizes that the latter was given increased consideration “as a genuine passenger space rather than occasional seating.” As such, the third row receives power adjustment head- and backrests, heating, cupholders, and dedicated entertainment controls.

As with Xpeng’s emphasis on technology, much of the X9’s systems are developed in-house. This includes the Xmart OS infotainment system which supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, the Xpilot ADAS suite, and the Xopera 27-speaker sound system.
